As a Dual Sport Motorcycle Riders Association member, I have the chance to go on exciting trail rides all around NSW. DSMRA are all about offering you the chance to explore this beautiful country we have been blessed with, by the best way possible, a TRAIL BIKE!. Your bike MUST be registered in order to ride in state forests and places alike. This ride was organized by DSMRA Hawkesbury / Napean area with 23 riders meeting at Zig Zag railway 30kms from Lithgow.

Being my first ride with DSMRA, I was very excited about riding 80kms from Clerance to Capertee, by far my the longest trip I have ever made.

From Clarence to Capertee it's a solid 80kms, which includes all types of terrain, like technical hill climbs, narrow stages, wide open fire trails, rocky declines and muddy bogholes. I didn't really have too much trouble, I guess the only trouble I did have, was trying to keep up with some of the more experienced riders in the pack.

Definitely a ride I will never forget! - one of the main reasons why this ride turned out to be so great was the excellent organizational skills offered by the DSMRA ride coordinators, Dave Moore and Bruce Davidson just to name a few. It was professional from start to finish and I recommend anyone who own's a registered trial bike to join DSMRA.

It was a reliving feeling when we arrived back at the Zig Zag railway car park after 5 hours of trail riding, only because the body does get a bit of a beating, especially if you come off couple of times like I did :)
