Two only because I am an enduro rider who loves rocks.

This was going to be my first trail ride in a looooong time. My bike had electrical problems, that even the dude's at Action Suzuki were unable to diagnose it. Finally it came down to the wiring loom and some wire that keeps loosing contact. This took me off the track for a whole 3 months and I was dying to get back into it.

It was decided we would head off to a track in Londonderry, out Penrith way. This track has a reputation for it's mud and the odd police van driving through. So if you don't have a registered bike (like some of us) then be warned. We came across a police van just after we had unloaded the bike's. He was quite friendly to be honest but did give us a warning, that it was quite possible that police on trail bike's may patrol today and if your not registered, you will cop a fine.

With that in mind we continued our unloading and with 6 bike's ready to go, nothing was going to hold me back.

Unloading the bike's, nothing to exciting here. Unless your a Bulldogs supporter. Go the Dogs !!

Just waiting of Fatih to find his way back. Quite basic terrain, no real challengers (apart from some the the mud holes). Not ideal for the enduro rider.

Couple of quarries in the area, that made for some interesting photo's. Please keep in mind that these area's are NOT PERMITTED for riding, you ride at your own risk, just like us :-).

Plenty of open space to ride, but not many obstacle's to worry about.

A photo with the boys, minus me. From left, Evan, Salim (John) Adam and Fatih (Crazy Frank).

A photo from the bottom.

Evan tried to cross this little crossing, but didn't get far as he realized his bike was sinking. So was Salim who tried to come to the rescue!.

Ucel who joined us later, got some serious air from this jump ! There are a some nice jumps in the area, just need to explore a little.

A couple of little motocross tracks in the area, with some handy jumps too.

How to get there ?

There is no need to give detailed information on how to get there. The only info you need is the street name Devlin Road and suburb Londonderry.

Once you have located this on your street directory, your off. All you need to do once your on Devlin Road is pick a turn off into the bush. They all lead to the same shit anyway.

The Above map illustrates one of the entry point's into the area, marked with a black dot. Devlin Road is off Nutt Road but there is no sign post so your going to have to take your chance. Also there are no sign posts warning riders not to ride here, but IT IS PROHIBITED so ride at your own risk, just like us.

Conclusion

Overall it was a quite an enjoyable day, for the adults and the kids who zoomed around the motocross tracks. It's one of the more closer tracks to central Sydney and also one that attracts plenty of attention from the Police and the Army.
There are two reasons for this, 1. There are allot of stolen and burnt cars that get dumped in the area and 2. There is a RAAF transmitting station close by, which is guarded by security and a aircraft drop zone aswell. We were actually riding in the drop zone so, if you decide to do the same be warned, you may get chased off.

Also towards the end of the day we discovered, with the help of another rider an actual motocross track at the Nepean Raceway. Now I might get into trouble by saying this but the dude that showed us this track, (which was easily accessible) said that he had mates coming here for years and were never told to leave. Weather that's true or not is another story but I won't document on how to get there, so if you find it then well done.

Riders; Salim, Fatih, Ucel, Evan, Adam and Myself. (Not including the kids)
